How do you clean your brushes?? I don't want to buy a brush cleaner so what are some alternatives that I could use. Step by step would really help!
Thanks:)

Just wet the brush hairs and swirl in some soap or brush cleaner on your hand. Make sure not to get water past the metal piece because the water could break down the glues holding the hairs together and your brushes would start shedding like crazy and become useless. Some people say to use oil to wash makeup brushes but that can ruin the bristles so don't do that. There are tons of videos on YouTube on cleaning brushes!

and after you was them, put a little bit of conditioner on them. It works amazing.

Shampoo and conditioner is what I use. Wet the brush with warm water, shampoo until it runs clear (may take a couple shampoos), condition them and rinse, lie brush on hand towel to dry for several hours. Conditioning isn't necessary but it keeps my brushes nice and soft.
