I'd add more vibrant deep red blood to the first and third picture, also covering up the bullet exit would a little better and darken the inside lining of the flesh eating bacteria holes, like around the sides on the inside, does that make sense? Lol. I think they all look great, just need a little tweaking.

Considering you don't have the materials, this looos amazing. I'm no expert and if you can, seek the adive of Emily W (I'm not sure if it's a W). The only thing I'd say myself as someone who has no experience with this is that there doesn't seem to be enough blood.
I love those bullet holes!!

You can use lash glue or elmers glue if you can't get your hands on liquid latex. I think the wounds themselves look good, I would suggest working on the color of the flesh surrounding the wounds. Whenever I do wound work (I'm ok, I dabble) I think of bruise colors and I'll Google some images for reference. Other than that good job. Keep it up.

For wounds:
Think about what is causing the trauma. What implement created the wound? At what angle (offensive? defensive?)? How old is the trauma? Did it occur post-mortem (like for zombies)? A defensive wound from a scalpel is going to look completely different than an offensive wound from a serrated steak knife. A fresh wound will look drastically different than one that is several days old.
Look at real photos of trauma, not other makeup. Study human anatomy, and understand what happens to bodies when they are injured in different ways.
For materials, try working with gelatin if you don't have access to liquid latex. As for adhering scar wax: prosaide or telesis are probably your best bet, but even then the prosthetics won't be very durable. You can order liquid latex online, it isn't very expensive. Working with latex, cotton balls, and tissues, you can create some really great effects without spending tons of money.
As for these specific photos:
- The cut is too isolated. There isn't any trauma to the surrounding tissue; it needs some bruising. A fresh injury has red bruising (highly oxygenated blood pooling under the skin). A few days later, bruising starts to turn purple then brown (swelling cuts off oxygen, causing hypoxia in the bruise- red + blue = purple). After a week or more, the bruise turns yellowish (the body starts breaking down the hemoglobin and reabsorbing as it heals).
- The cut looks dry. Exposed flesh is wet. The shallower the wound, the more blood. A deeper wound bleeds less (unless a major artery is hit, in which case FOUNTAIN OF BLOOD). Blood from a shallow wound is brighter red (exposure to air leads to oxidation of iron, giving a more crimson color). Arterial or deep tissue blood is dark. Exposed flesh that isn't bloody is slimy (like fresh burns or flayed muscle). Glycerine is great for that.
- The bullet entry wound rises too far from the skin. Try making the sides slope less severely to look more like natural swelling.
- The bullet wound lacks coloring. Again, get some bruising in there! It is very rare for a wound to be so clean that there is no bruising or other trauma around it.
- The exit wound lacks depth. The center should be drastically darker, and the torn flesh needs some shading. Also, needs more bruising (I sound like a broken record now, but seriously. Bruise it up!)
- The flesh-eating infection looks stellar. Just a bit more shading around the inside edges, and maybe a little purple shading on the outside (necrotic tissue) and you're golden.
You've got a great start here, especially for such limited materials!

Aww Lara, so flattered you thought of me! xo
Lash glue and white glue (Elmers, school glue) really only work temporarily. As soon as you start to sweat, they fall off (learned this the hard way). You can use spirit gum to stick them back down as they start to peel, but you'll only get a few hours at most.

Woah thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll definitely try to add more blood and bruising next time. @Emily W wow you helped me a lot last time with my previous post (if you still rmb it) and you inspired me to keep trying even though it's still quite crappy haha 😊 well I guess no one starts out perfect and I'll definitely take on board what you said 😄

To stick the wax down I tried using elmers glue underneath before but the edges started to roll and clump together, also if I added any powder over it, it clumped even worse but maybe that's because I was too rough on it, though I'll be sure to try out the lash glue

Killerr. For someone who uses all self-made materials, I'd say they're really good. Keep on keeping on, practice makes perfect
