I know dish shampoo is drying to the hair, but my hair masks will fix that right up. But has anyone tired this? It's supposedly supposed to lighten hair with the acid and harsh soap. I've watched a million YouTube videos and I'm extremely tempted to try it instead of doing color oops again, the smell makes me sick to my stomach! Any help would be great, thanks babes!

I was honestly just wanting to try it out. I don't mind damage, I know how to fix it. I was just going to mess around with it. My hair is already brassy, I wasn't trying to go blonde. I watched it work for a lot of people, I was just wondering who on beautylish has tried it is all.

I might try it, I'm not too sure whether I want to lighten or not, I HATE this orange but I'm getting my hair dyed at the salon soon... I'm just so impatient and I want to get this orange out!

Lol I don't blame you. I'm probably going to do a test stand to see if anything happens with the vitamin c and dish soap. I just hate this orange so much, I'm tired of looking at it!

Shanae may I ask what was your experience with color oops because I've been wanting to try it to get all the dark out of my hair? & not going to lie I have tried the vitamin c on hair :o lol when I did it I used a lot of vitamin c capsules like 10 or 15 don't remember and I combined it with some head and shoulders I left it on for a couple hours and I wanted to believe the color was going to be a drastic change but it only lightened it a little more. When I was taking a shower I saw some of the dark brown run down in the water but if left my hair some what feeling dry. So to me it worked would it try it again hmmm probably not 😋 lol

There is a shampoo& conditioner called tio nacho lightening shampoo that you can get at walgreens I think Walmart & target carry it as well, I used it before & it lightened my hair about a shade
I stopped using it thought but it worked

@Nerissa, my experience with color oops with good, it got all the red out of my hair and left it orange, that's why I'm considering lightening again, the orange is ugly lol. But the cons of it, it stinks, it weighs down your hair, but goes away after about two washes. If you have really dark hair, I'd do it twice, but who knows, it might do the job in one application, it got my red out and red is supposedly the hardest colour to get out. Hope I helped!
@Gisell, thanks, I'll look up some reviews and maybe try it out (:

Lol I know right. I'm hopefully going to leave it alone after I get it done professionally since I'm trying to just let it all grow back out over the years. But the thought of not doing anything to my hair anymore, I just can't comprehend lmao.
