~ Review on Dazzling White pen ~

I didn't know what category to put this under, apologies if it's in the wrong category.

This review is on the Dazzling White instant whitening pen. I've never done a review so forgive me if I don't give enough information or if I blab too much haha. Anywho, I'm just going to post pros and cons to make this short and simple. Starting with cons, just because.

Cons:
#1: I had to leave my mouth open for ten minutes and it dried the crap out of my lips, it says in the directions to put chapstick or petroleum jelly it'll do so, I used my burts bees chapstick and it wasn't enough apparently lol.

#2: My teeth were uber sensitive to the formula, it wasn't a burning sensation or anything, just like really cold.. like taking a bite of ice cream with my two front teeth.

#3: It says not to touch your gums with the pen for a reason. It burns. Probably because of the peroxide.

#4: Yes, it stains clothes, too much oozed out of the top and dripped onto my shirt and made a yellow stain, weird considering its a whitening pen. Lol.

And now it's time for..

Pros
#1: It whitened my teeth! I had so much doubt I this product and within one use, I would say my teeth are at least 2 shades lighter. It says not to extend 2 applications a day or it'll cause crazy bad sensitivity.

#2: Not really a pro, but in a way it could be, you can see this stuff working, I couldn't help but to look at my teeth considering my mouth was wide open for 10 minutes, and it bubbles.. I looked up what it meant when it bubbled and it was pretty obvious, it means it working, the peroxide and whatnot is removing stains.

#3: Easy application, the brush makes it really easy to apply.

Altogether a pretty great product, be careful when using it, although some aren't as clumsy as me. I'll definitely continue using this product. I would post pictures, but I'm insanely self conscious about my teeth, they have pictures on their site though! Any questions, just ask!

How many times can you re use the pen, or is it a one time use? And where can you get it from?

I'd assume that it's enough for about week of use if you use it twice a day for 7 days. It's a pen with gel on the inside, you twist the end and the formula comes out onto the brush, somewhat similar to the retractable eye liner. I got mine from Dollar tree. I've seen it at Wal-Mart but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

I'm really glad you wrote this review! I saw the pen like two months ago at dollar tree and have still seen it several times since and every time I think about getting it but pass it up thinking it probably won't work. Thanks for sharing :)

Glad you saw a difference! I didn't, but I didn't use it more than 5x to actually notice a difference. I hate how I had to leave my mouth opened too, all this spit/drool in my mouth and I don't know what to do with it lol. Mines still sitting in my bathroom, maybe I should reconsider using it again.

I'd definitely reconsider. I've only used it once and I saw a difference. But there's also the fact that what works for one may not work for the other.. I can't imagine what it'll look a few days from now. I'm crazy excited. lol.

I would be excited too! I really wanted the crest white strips but my teeth are really crooked, so I don't think they'll stay :(

It bothers me that the strips only work on perfectly straight teeth. What about us crooked teeth gals, you know? Lol. I have two out of place teeth and the strips wouldn't stay and did no whitening. That's why I'm so excited that this pen worked!

I know they came out with the advanced seal crest white strips and those are supposed to stay in place rather than move around, I wonder if that one would work on us crooked teeth girls lol. All my teeth are out of place lolol. With the dazzling white pen, I didn't burn my gums, be careful though since yours did!

I got it all over my gums lmao, sad, I know. But it only burned in one spot, maybe I brushed too hard there with my toothbrush previously, I don't really know haha.

Shanae have you tried the crest 3D whitestrips? They're a lot less messier & you don't have to keep your mouth open for 10 mins lol.

The strips didn't work for me, I have one tooth that's pushed back kinda and one that sticks out and all the other teeth aren't in a perfect line and I noticed that it hardly whitened at all, the only reason I could tell it even did anything was because my teeth that aren't in perfect order were still stained. I just had an all and all bad experience with it. I heard that the changed the formula or something and made the strips more flexible but I'm still not sure if I wanna waste money on it again.

Ohhhh yeah I see why tht would happen, in your case the pen is probably a better option, but maybe you can try using Vaseline next time lol
