From what I've seen the natural and bold are very similar. I think that last year's bags were way more fun, more variety and awesome things. I haven't gotten my bag yet so I'm hoping for some random awesomeness.

About the RCMA palette, I apply the lines with a small synthetic brush and then just blend them out with a kabuki brush. I don't know if that's the general consensus on the right way to do it but it works well for me and I love the look!

Kicking myself again that I didn't order one. The RCMA contour palette is also on my wish list. I would have been bummed about the #17 brush, it's the one WG I have no interest in. It's just too big for my eyes, I think. The MUA bags were already sold out by the time I logged in to buy, and then I sort of chickened out on it, thinking it wasn't going to be worth the $$.

Kathryn thank you for the tips. I don't own any kabuki brushes sadly, do you think my Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush would work for blending it out?
And Jenny I myself am a little bummed with how big the #17 brush is. I am going to play around and see if I can make use of it another way.

Beth you lucked out and got a face brush huh? What number is that one?
That shade of lip tar looks gorgeous! What is he name of that color and would you mind swatching it or trying it on for me?

I'm not familiar with the UD optical brush, but you need a medium sized fluffy brush with fairly stiff bristles. That's what works for me. Sometimes I'll use a regular blending brush and it's fine but it just takes more time to blend and I have to be more careful to be more precise. That's just what works for me! 😀

Traci, if it's any consolation in the last couple of days, I've figured out what to do with my big eye shadow brushes: contour my little face! My bigger brushes are just too big to be precise. If it were a synthetic brush, I'd say use it to apply your eye primer, because you get a much more even application with it. My experience of using my WG brush with emollient products was not good, though.

Thanks Jenny, I will have to try that so that my Goss brush doesn't sit around unused.
