Also, powder objects don't count for airports right?

As long as you can fit it in your bag, you're fine. I usually pack three times more when I travel and never use it all lol.

I meant for carry on , sorry didn't specify.

It's fine as long as it fits in a quart size clear bag, and you only need any liquid products in there but stuff like balms and creams count to

Yes it still alright. The only thing airlines regulate with cosmetics are liquids. You can bring as much powder, blush, eyeshadow, etc. The ounces for the rest don't matter :)

I don't have a quart size bag, I have a bigger ziploc bag...shoot will they throw it out.

I never had a problem with having all my stuff in a zip up makeup bag. And all of it was in my carry on.

Sometimes they will but not always! It depends on how strict the security is. You can probably find some at Target or Walmart.

I mean it's 8pm RN and my flight is tomorrow, I can't go out. I have a ziploc but it's big.

I've never had a problem either with just having a makeup bag.

I use a gallon zip lock every time I fly and I've never had them throw out my stuff. I think you should be fine.

I've flown with far more and had no issue...the issue with TSA is ounces of an individual product.

I would try to get a quart sized ziplock bag just in case, rather safe than sorry.
Only gels, creams, and liquids need to be under 3.4 ounces and in the ziplock bag.
If you're not sure whether or not something needs to go in the ziplock then go to tsa.gov and on the right hand side it says "When I Fly Can I Bring My...?" Just type in your item, click "GO", and it'll tell you whether or not it needs to go in the ziplock.

The rules are a quart size bag, if you don't have one they supply them at the airport

Nicola, not all airports supply quart sized bags, unfortunately :/

Hmm I don't think I have ever been to an airport with out them. Unless it was a national airport

I'm an extremely frequent flyer, about 3 to 4 trips a month. the size of the bag does not matter. liquids and balms need to be places in a bag together, just have to place the bag outside in a bin so its all visible. some airports do have bags available but not all. don't freak out, you'll be just fine.

Oh and of course the ounces!! below or at 3.4 :)
