Okay I've only used beyond the zone semi-permanent hair dye on red, I used it to cover the fading parts of my permanent hair color and it worked wonders. I maintain it just as if was my regular red dye, but NOW I want to do a mint ombre, since I've only used semi-permanent hair dye once and it was a darkish color, I am worried on how to maintain this mint color I bought an Ion hair dye I couldn't find any other brand with a similar shade :/.
Pleaseeeeee, help me any suggestions are very very welcome!

You're going to have to lift your hair before you use the mint shade. And you can always use Manic Panic green and add conditioner until it is light enough.

I have used the ion mint color but I prefer the pravana mint which is a professional color, they best way to maintain it ( what I do ) is keep the tube in the shower with a little color bowl and comb- ans once a week reapply and leave in about 10 min. I would apply it wet and comb through for evenness. Also try to wait 3 days between washes and do not shampoo the ends (if that's where the mint is)Using a professional shampoo without any sulfate will also help
