So, I know that leave in conditioner can help your hair strength but the ones I've tried have just left my hair a bit oily. I've dyed my hair, bleached it, and used heat on it. I'm trying to grow it out (I haven't dyed it in over a year) but I would like to know some good, inexpensive leave in conditioners that help split ends and help your hair become stronger. Options and suggestions? 😘

I recommend you cut your split ends before they get worse because then you have to cut more length off. I love it's a 10 leave in conditioner I don't remember the price. You can also use hair mask to make you hair healthier. I love just using coconut oil its very moisturizing.

Biotin should only be taken if you actually need it and if your doctor says it's okay.

I second the advice for a keratin spray. Sally's beauty supply has a keratin leave in conditioner that's only $10 and works great. I mix it with not your mother's leave in conditioner, it's super lightweight and doesn't make my oily hair more oily.

Protein treatments are wonderful for strengthening hair and helping it grow. I recommend doing a DIY Mask of Avocado and any oil of your choice, or you can purchase any protein treatment available at Sally's.
My favorite is ApHogee Keratin 2 minute re-constructor which uses a blend of amino acids, oils, and vitamins to repair hair from heat damage, chemical damage and helps displace mineral deposits from hard water. It leaves your hair soft but strong ☺

I would say to use a good hydrating hair mask not more than twice a week. This will keep the split ends from breaking off any more. I use the Herbal Essences mask and it works amazingly.

I suggest you get your hair trimmed every 3 months, its worth it, it gives a healthy bounce to your hair. I had my hair till the end of my spine and my hair is thick and healthy, its genetic :P
Trust me, handling long hair is very hectic. I got so irritated I just got my hair cut till my chest.
And, as I've experienced, I never sticked to one shampoo, I kept on changing them, and my hair grew stronger. Crazy, I know
