Use it like a regular one, just blow off the excess shadow from the brush.

Don't blow on the brush, tap off the excess. I've heard that blowing into your brushes isn't sanitary.

Also, Kimmy, instead of dipping your brush into the product from the container pick it up from the cap instead so you won't get an overload of product on your brush (:

I agree with Shanae. It also helps with product control. You save what you don't use by tapping and you also don't blow the it in the air causing you to inhale it anymore

Damp your brush squeeze the excess out and dab on the shadow with it.Also you can get a mixing medium if you want and the possibilities of your loose shadows can work as liner, lip product and so on;) of course you could also just use your shadow dry as well but tap on.Base/sealers also come in handy to set the shadow to last all day.

A drop of saline solution eye drop on a palette and then use a dry brush to transfer some powder to the drop, mix it and apply to eye. I usually use synthetic brushes for this. You can make a liquid liner out of any of your pigments this way. The shadow goes on wet and then dries and won't budge. The only issue is blending which is kind of impossible with wet shadows. I usually use it for an eyeliner this way or as a final shimmer color on the middle of the lid, after all other shadows have been blended and applied. I recently pressed all my loose shadows into z-palette pans, which has taken a lot of the mess out of using them. Now I just spray my pressed shadows with a setting spray and use them with a synthetic brush. This gets rid of the mixing step and allows them to blend a bit with other shadows applied similarly. I've found that wet and dry shadows don't play nicely with each other.
