If by unmanageable you mean to many split ends and impossible to style I would definitely chop it and go either shoulder length or a bob and I would ombré it starting with your natural colour and going to a blond at the bottom or I would add some blond or brown highlights I hope this helps

^ I agree with these girls! but you should get the second picture a light brown and dark brown, blonde would be too light.
