Cute title, amiright? 😀 Ok so today I wanted to something soft and sweet. The only thing I regret is that the gold highlight in my inner corner isn't really visible but hey, whatev. Products used: VooDoo foundation, RCMA HAC, Mac mineralized powder and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, Mac eyeshadow base in Painterly, On my eyes I used a blend of pinks from Too Faced Everything Nice palette, Paper Roses on my lid, Kindness Is Free above my crease, and Totally Fetch in my outer V and lined under my lash line. I also blended Knockout into my lower lash line. I used After Hours to highlight my inner corner. My under brow highlight is Turtle Dove. I used Chanel liquid liner, and Sephora white liner in my waterline. My crazy long lashes are from Red Cherry. I used just a tad of Nars Orgasm, and my lipstick is a mix of about a million things until I was satisfied with/gave up on the color! The main lipstick I used is by Bobbi Brown in Beige 2. So what do you ladies think? Hit or miss?

I'm also not a fan of white in the waterline but you pulled it off so beautifully. It complimented the eye look well.

Shelley thank you! Btw, just since we last talked I got an offer to work a TV set on a two day project and I got hired as a local photographer's artist but I can still keep my job at the salon! God is blowing down some doors!

Genevieve thank you! That's really so sweet of you. In a weird way, it's also what I worry about! As an artist and not a model, I want people to notice my application and realize that I'm not just posting selfies. I know you all realize that on here, (obviously that's what the site is about), but on other social media it feels weird to be posting myself and still try to make people understand it's the makeup application I want them to see. I know you get it, I think I just vented for a second there! Thank you for the sweet complements!

For me, the best mua are the one that can put the client (aka you) in the front row!! yes showing that you can do great makeup application is important, but showing you can do this amazing application that put you forward is way more important because that's what client will be looking for!
I'm bot a mua world pro in any way, I'm just stating my opinion as a client! if I was looking for a mua, this picture would have me call you right away!!
I'm sure people will understand that you are creating looks and not just doing selfie!!

Genevieve that's a really great point! Thanks for pointing that out to me. I guess I just get self conscious because on my Facebook makeup page all the comments I get say things like "you're so pretty" and one even said "you would look good no matter what you have on" and while I appreciate that I worry that they aren't getting what I'm trying to do. Their comments about my appearance rather than the application make me worry they all think I'm just posting a bunch of selfies to say hey- look at me!! I guess Facebook is kind of a different forum than this site or even Instagram. So anyway, thanks for making that point to me! It definitely helped me see things differently! 😊👍

You're welcome sweetie! :)
and I know the feeling, like every time someone says "ohhh you are so lucky to know how computer works"... well I work my ass of for that and I really believe that it is skill, not luck!
you look amazing on your pictures because you are a skilled mua!
