I guess it really depends if you want a ceramic or titanium plated straightener. If you want titanium I suggest the croc, & if you want ceramic then the chi would be good

I use the blue revlon straightener (ceramic) it takes a while to straighten my hair, but it makes my hair shiny!

Well I have a herstyler as well.. one of the kinds you see at the mall demos that sell for 200$ when curling hair with a straightener started to boom... anyways finally got one after a few years off of amazon for a whopping 25$.. had it for a year.. have even dropped it a few times and I love it! Nice straight, curly, smooth shiny hair everytime! Great "splurge" :)
