Does anyone have any experience with RoC skincare? I'm thinking on buying some of their products but I just don't know what yet. I'm 15 old and I have sensitive acne prone skin. I was thinking in getting their micellar cleansing water (I have used the Garnier one, but I don't know if I really like it...) and do you have any recommendations??

I have only used the Roc correction deep wrinkle serum, eye cream and night cream and I LOVE them!! I don't know their other products, you should definitely ask Traci here on BL, she's a skin care guru - she knows everything - and she was the one that recommend Roc to me :)

I agree with Sabrina. I also started using the deep wrinkle serum recommend by Traci. However I know they say it's never too early to be proactive in terms of skincare but I'm not sure how beneficial some of the products would be to younger skin as it acts different than more mature skin.

When it comes to cleansing products I feel like really the important thing is it's getting your skin totally clean and keeping it balanced ie not drying it out making it too oily etc. I'm no scientist but it really seems to me that any treatment type ingredients in a face wash are just going down the drain so I splurge on targeted treatments and serum geared toward my specific issues instead.

15 years old is just far too young to start in using RoC retinol. Its far too intensive for your skin even though its a drugstore line. As far as the micellar cleansing water...I haven't tried that myself but just watch out for possible fragrance irritating your skin (if it does contain any). Another brand that came out with micellar water is Simple. I believe its fragrance free and super affordable.

Thank you Angela and Sabrina

@Shelley, the micellar cleansing water is for sensitive skin so I don't think it will irritate my skin and I live in the Netherlands and you can't get Simple here...

Just watch out because just because something says its for sensitive skin isn't always the case unfortunately. What skincare lines are available to you in the Netherlands? Are you able to get Bioderma Micelle Solution for sensitive skin? I love that one...when I can get my hands on it.

I haven't tried the Garnier one...does it do a decent job or is it just blah?

I think I can actually order lots of products online, they do sell some more expensive brands, but unfortunately I can't get Bioderma here. I think I can order it online so I guess I'll give it a try... Hahahaha The Garnier one is the only one I've ever used, but it does a decent job, I just thought maybe it'd be good to try a new one and see how it works... If you're on a tight budget or you don't want to spent a lot on skincare, the Garnier one is ok.

I'm just a little scared to order my skincare products online, I don't know why...

I'm the same way. Especially if its something I never tried before. I only buy if its something I purchased in-store before. Makeup I can do online everyday/all day but skincare is a lil dicey for me.lol.

Dermatologist recommend Retin a to girls younger than you for acne and that 100 times stronger than roc would I recommend it to a girl your age that didn't have acne not really I always recommend starting off with a gentle routine when your young ,however if that's not working than you can use stronger products , you just have to remember you said you have sensitive skin and all roc products contain retinol which is a vitamin a derivative and can cause peeling dry patches and sensitive skin , so if you want to try it the way to do it is use it only 3 times a week start slow and give your skin time to get use to it that may take a year to work up to using it daily but even if you only use it 3 times a week it still will benefit your skin

@Traci...my husband and I argue about that often...young girls using Retinols. He's all for it while I disagree much to his annoyance. I just see too many girls reaching for the big guns and missuing them and causing more harm than good. About to do FaceChat with him in just a bit...going to mention it just for the sake of a good marital debate.lol.

Lol I do agree they should try and stick with a gentle routine then if it's not improving they have to see what else will do the trick but I do agree with you both lol

Thanks Traci!! You always help me so much! I've been dealing with bad skin for a few years already and it's finally getting a little better. I use coconut oil to clean my face, then I exfoliate once or twice a week and at night I mix coconut oil with aloe vera gel, honey and sudocrem and in the morning I sometimes use micellar water from Garnier (at night too) and I moisturise my face with a cream that's meant for babies when it's rainy and windy and it's hypoallergenic and it contains zinc oxide and then I use a lightweight foundation with spf (I use the L'Or?al magic nude eau de teint)
