Braid it when's its damp/wet. When's its try put straightner on the plait and go down a couple of times on each braid. That usually works for me. Don't forget to spray with heat protectant and hairspray.

I actually bought a waver from ulta! I use the bed head makin waves and I love it. Also there are actually crimpers (the kind that make zig zags rather than waves) you should check it out! I tried the straightener way and it gave me kind of frizzy waves, but I liked it. It looks very natural but it felt very damaging because I felt like I had to hold it in on spot for very long to see any difference. Remember! Heat protectant heat protectant heat protectant!

There is a actually a hair crimper tool! If that's what you even call it lol! I had a mini one it's nice but it damages your hair! I suggest braiding your damp hair and leave it overnight (:
