Shimmer lights was really terrible for me. You have to leave it in forever to see any kind of result. I really recommend checking out the Schwarzkopf purple shampoo, it's the most pigmented I've ever used.

I have the first bottle pic Jacqlyn and it works good, the longer you leave in the hair the better the results, I bought mine at Sally's beauty supply :)

Yup doesn't hurt to try. I've been doing that myself when it comes to drug store makeup I've been buying things all you ladies have been dishing about just to give it a shot :) It's my new thing to do this year lol

I use ion cool blonde conditioner. Super pigmented and I don't feel worried about leaving it on a long time because I know it won't be drying.

I've used both and they're both comparable to me. Shimmer Lights might be a bit more concentrated. Also, I've been using one from Sallys by Blonde Brilliance. its amazing and really conditioning.
