I hope I put this under the right category. If not I'm sorry! Okay so I'd really like to start self tanning, but I'm super fair. I feel like if I were to self tan, there's obviously some spots I will miss, like my back and back of my shoulders, and I'll just look stupid lol. I thought about going and getting a spray tan, just to kind of have a base to work off of, and then applying self tanner from then on out so my whole body blends together. Does anyone have any tips for me or know good products for someone who is so fair?

St.Tropez mousse. I'm as white as a sheet of paper and I promise you this tan is not orange at all but be sure that you exfoliate before its use :)

Lots of self tanners make shades like "for fair to light" and "for medium to deep", etc., and don't be afraid to use the ones that are supposed to be for darker skin because they tend to be more bronze, where a lot of the ones for fair skin tend to be really orange. Jergens Natural Glow self tanning lotion is a good example of that, the fair to light is suuuppper orange on me because I'm so fair.
But it also depends on the product, and in some of them the medium to deep will end up being too dark also...so if I was you, once you decide on a product, I would look up some reviews and see whether it runs orange or not if it comes in multiple colors. So yeah, hope this helps!

Jergens lotion is good in medium to deep, and so is the St Tropez bronzing mousse in just the regular one (not the deep), although the mitt does take some getting used to.
