I was taking pictures on my phone with the flash on and I noticed how my face looked so white & you could see the makeup but in different lighting it looks so perfect and glowy! Any solutions?! I need a solution before prom 😩

I notice that too and showed people a pic of me with the flash on and they said I really didn't look like that. Idk I hate the way I look when I take a pic of me with the flash on

Giiiirl my translucent powder makes me look like a ghost in flash pictures! I hardly use it anymore because of it hahah. It's so weird too because it's more white in some places (like my under eyes especially) which I probably used a heavy hand for. Lmao.

Actually Alex, it's a common misconception that SPF causes a white flash. It really doesn't, it's the setting powder that creates a white flash, especially HD ones (:

Anything too dewy or glittery can cause flashback as well because it reflects light to an extreme with the brightness of flash which can cause flashback. Any powder with silica (mostly translucent powders) can cause flash back. Anything with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide will cause flashback if there's a great amount (these are usually use in products with SPF, so it's not SPF that causes that)

Alexis all you said I've learned from jackie, and she has also mentioned that if HD powder is used right it won't cause a problem with flash back, just throwing it out there in case you ladies still want to use hd powder 😊

I'm sorry, I was just giving the information that I have. I've learned a lot from a lot of places so if that piece of information is something I've heard from Jacqueline then credit to her.

Is that the Rimmel match perfection, Jacqlyn? I have extremely oily skin and wear that foundation without setting it and can take a picture without a white cast. It's so weird. matte foundations are better for flash photography though, Jacqlyn is 100% correct.

No I'm saying for photography, matte foundations are good! Haha. you run no risk of flashback. I hate matte foundations, even for flash photography I don't use it lol I like my satin finish foundations, but I like looking a little "shiny" in pictures, lol. Idk just depends
