Hey as you could probably tell by the title I have questions and need some recommendations about foundations. I have dry skin, sensitive, discoloration, redness and very fair. I hate too pink or too orange foundations.
Here are some I think I want to try but I want your opinions and more recommendations.
-Maybelline fit me matte and poreless
-loreal lumi touch ( I believe)
-elf flawless finish foundation

I haven't used any of these foundations but I would skip the Maybelline Fit Me Matte And Poreless if you have dry skin. Matte foundations and dry skin don't go together very well as the foundation will cling to your dry patches. I would go for the Loreal Lumi or any other Illuminating and/or hydrating foundations.

I don't have that much money right now because of Christmas. Jacqlyn, any foundations you like under 20?

The lumi is good for dry skin, one I f my go to products but it does have a distinct yellow undertone.

I love love loved loreal lumi!! I have dry skin and I never found it clinging to dry patches or anything. I have both NARS Sheerglow and the lumi and I find the products VERY similar but as my sheerglow is a little too orange and I'm yellow undertoned, I find myself reaching for the lumi instead. I have 0 problems with it

I have the elf flawless foundation and I am super duper dry skin and I'm telling you that foundation is amazing but there are not a lot of shades it just took care of I have no way of using it but if I was still how I would be using it.

The Maybelline Fit Me matte and poreless foundation will not work out for you. Its better if you had normal, oily, or combo skin but since you have dry skin its going to be so obvious. It will show dry patches and look cakey. I think.out of your 3 choice Loreal Lumi True Match is going to be your best bet. It has a dewy finish which is much better when.you have dry skin. There are a lot of color choices in this foundation so you won't get one that is too pink or too orange. I just don't know if they have super light colors, but I can.imagine that they would. I havent tried the elf foundation but I use an elf Tinted Moisturizer which I absouetly love. It gives me decent coverage and it moisturizes my skin, giving me zero dry patches.

If you get a foundation that isnt light enough for you, mix some white foundation with it.

Thanks so much everyone, I think I'm going to go to sephora and ask for samples and try the loreal lumi touch. :) I hope they have my shade 🙏

If you ever find yourself saving money, try Mac studio sculpt. It is my holy grail. I have literally tried EVERYTHING, and everything seemed to cling to my dry patches and nothing covered my red cheeks. It hydrates your skin and is thick and blends so perfectly. Definitely suggest it! Plus there is a huge range of shades. It's $30 where I live.
