I am going to be dying my hair a dark purple. I don't think itll be super purple but I'm still concerned with my roots being a dark brown and my hair a lighter orangeish brown.. how can I fix my hair so when I dye it it won't be two seperate colors?

Your roots will probably take the dye just as well as the rest of your hair, being that your roots are virgin. Roots take dye a lot better than the ends, but since your hair is light, I think you should just apply the dye regularly or from bottom to top and everything will be fine.

Always do the ends of your hair first and then go back and do your roots last. Because they're virgin AND the heat from your head will cause it to process faster and you will end up with two different colors.
