I'm debating on getting this. I do have the abh contour pallet, and the rcma cream one. but I want a nice powder one, and the abh isn't cutting it. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

I don't. :). I'm just worried that the light shades are too warm/dark for me. I'm on the pale side.

For 46 dollars I don't wanna get it if it won't work. but my sephora doesn't have it!

I don't know, the reviews say it's not as warm as you'd think, and actually they're cool-toned. There's also a lot of people saying that they've even be able to use all the shades on their fair skin, so who knows. I'll be purchasing this regardless lol.

Oh, and if you watch Sephora's youtube video featuring it, you can see that it's not really warm.

I just purchased this, and it's lovely. The powders are very soft and blendable. I'll give you the pros of this palette and some cons

Pros: the packaging is beautiful. It also seems very sturdy, which I can appreciate. The powders are very soft, and super blendable. The highlighting shades are subtle, they are nothing like becca highlighters, so this may be a con to others

Cons: in my opinion there is only one true contours shade in the palette and the others are more for bronzing. I was slightly disappointed in all the product that kicked up when you dab your brush in the pan. And lastly my final con, (which this my not pertain to you) this palette is suited more towards light to slightly tan skin tones.

Overall if you have the Abh palette I personally don't think you need this one. It's beautiful, but it's not outstanding. I'd definitely wait to swatch it out in your local sephora and see for yourself if it's something you're interested in.

Sorry for the funky picture. From L to R

Highlight shades: lucid and lyric are both matte and levitation is a satin finish.

Contour: sombre, which I feel is the only true contour. Shadow play and subconscious. All three are matte.

No problem, Jacqueline! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the palette. Kat von d also came out with a new water based primer, have you caught a glimpse of it by any chance?

I just saw this yesterday from another thread and I want it so badly already!

I also would love to hear your thoughts on it, Jacqueline!

I was hoping it was darker then this. Le sigh, the search for more contour shades continues! Thanks for the swatches.

Yes! I'm actually very intrigued. I'm almost finished with my Laura mercier water based primer and I'm thinking I want to try it out.

I have a question for you :) so, using a water based primer with a silicone based foundation is a no no, right? So I thought it was interesting that they're marketing this primer to go with her lock it foundation, which I believe is silicone based? So my question is are there instances when you can use a water based primer with a silicone based foundation?

Aha! That's so interesting. You're awesome thank you for taking the time to answer my question

Would that same primer work with MUFE matte velvet @Jacqueline? it sounds awesome.
