Foundations for dry skin?

My skin is disgustingly dry and every foundation I use just seems to cling to my dry spots and makes them flaky. Does anyone recommend a good foundation for dry skin? (Preferably under $40) thanks!:)

I have dry skin and was recommend nars sheer glow and mac studio fix by ladies on here I havent tried them yet but I will getting them sometime this week :)

I heard from one of my friends that mac has some reaaaaallllyyy good ones. So if you have a mac store around I'd definitally check it there.

I love MAC studio sculpt. definitely my second favorite foundation and I'm very picky and tried a lot! my favorite is estee lauder double wear but when my skin is rely dehydrated it doesn't work as well.

Mac face and body it's literally like rubbing moisture into your skin and it's super natural I love it but I like light coverage. True match lumi wasn't the best in my opinion with dry skin.

I used to have that problem until I changed my face wash and moisturizer to nivea, its great for dry flaky skin and not too expensive
