I've been seeing a lot of hype about this particular foundation. What are your experiences and/or opinions? I am interested in this foundation because it has a matte finish, it's low on the SPF, and it has a wide selection of shades.

I love Estée Lauder Double Wear! It's lightweight but has medium to full coverage and is super blendable. I have oily skin and it doesn't break down from my skin's oils (:

Yes I use this foundation it gives me full coverage and last all day hadn't had any skin issues with this I do break out a lot but I believe it's hormonal so that rules the foundation out. I get dry skin also and it doesn't cling to the dry patches I've noticed that happened with other foundations

Emma, do you set your foundation with a setting powder? And does it really last for more than 8 hours?
What brush do you use when applying the foundation?

Erin, I also have acne prone skin so it helps to have a foundation that doesn't break me out. Did you purchase it at Sephora?

Do you use a primer? @emma I never noticed that with my dry skin. I apply Jojaba oil to my face and wait like 10 to apply primer and then 10 more before foundation

Yea I didn't notice any breakouts from it just the ones I had before but it covers them well. I like to mix it with cover girl 3 in 1 foundation to make it less thick. And I purchased it at Macy's

I have been using it for many years. The DW light. Then due to skin changes from thyroid. I went searching for something new. No luck. I ended up using the maximum coverage DW it's to much at times but it's the only thing I have at the moment. Over all it's a good foundation.

I just started it this week. It's pretty comparable to what I was already using-Chanel Perfection Lumiere. Slightly better coverage. Coverage is medium and buildable. My pet peeve with this is that it doesn't have a pump. I can't remember when I last bought a high end foundation with no pump. Maybe you can buy one separately but this wasn't offered at Macy's when I bought it. No break outs from it so far.

I've used it before and I LOVE it! The coverage is great especially for oily skin, if you feel that it's too heavy Estée Lauder also has a double wear light foundation which is just as great!

I have dry patchy skin and I tried it and it was horrible for me :( it separated really bad and clung to my patches everywhere!!
