I've been wanting to try out this dye in an ombré effect. Have any of you dolls used it and do you recommend it?

I found it sticks well to bleached hair. Or naturally light blonde hair. I used a deep purple on my ends & it faded within a month.

Okay, great! But does it damage hair at all?

No it doesn't, the bleach you use if you need to use it will definitely damage it, but manic panic is vegan and you can leave it in as long as you want.

Bleach will damage. Vegan dye most likely won't damage.

It works great! the actually dye won't hurt your hair, but if you want a lasting effect youll have to bleach it. If for some reason you come into contact with strong chemicals like chlorine, it will fade.

Manic panic won't damage your hair, if anything it actually made mine a bit softer! Its safe enough to use on a baby's hair so thats a good sign ahah. I left mine in overnight, I definitely suggest doing that when you do your hair. When your in the shower, since its a dip dye just shampoo your roots and try to make sure it doesn't go on the dye, and it should last a lot longer! The shampoo strips your hair of whatever's on it, so that's why its good to keep it out of it lol. I'm pretty sure conditioner's okay to use on it though :) good luck& have fun with your hair! :D.

Most colors from manic panic don't work, but the red does work very well, I have tried all shades of purple and blue and they faded to gray about a week later.
