Hi beauties! how are you all? hope all is well and everyone's having a nice time over there! :D listen, I have an event this weekend at the beach.( it's been a while since I go to the beach) so!! I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions of how I should style my hair :D I'm excited! I checked a lot of hairstyles recently but I still don't know which one is better~ my hair is layered, with the front up to my shoulder and the back is up just above my navel. I want my hairstyle to be suited with my face and I maybe going to do vigourous activities so I don't want my hairstyle to be ruin because of that. if possible, a hairstyle that allows me to put flowery hair clips on.

You could just do scrunchy waves. Just get a mousse or cream and scrunch your hair after you get out of the shower and slightly towel dry, then when it dries, it'll be scrunchy.

Oooooo~ my hair is always stubbornly straight no matter after I curled them or not, permanently or not. :/

Oh. Well.. maybe just a simple braid then. Or a bun.

I understand your struggle with straight hair mines the same way so I'd suggest maybe a braid. fishtail, or braided headband would be cute & usually I'll curl my hair with a flat iron or curling iron just to get some body and movement to it even though I know the curl itself won't really last. I'll look for some pictures of braids for you

Sarah N. yeah I do curl my hair but then even after I put hairspray just to let it last longer, still didn't work :/ I think I want to try braiding my hair for this weekend and thanks! :) btw.. when braiding.. we can curl our hair first right? then we can braid? or is it just the same thing? xD

Do you have a sea salt spray? Those really help for beachy styles! When my hair is damp, I french braid my hair, spray some sea salt prouduct evenly throughout the braid, leave it overnight, and then voila! By morning when you take the braid out, you have perfect waves. :)

Alli, what sea salt spray do you recommend? I haven't found one that actually works.

I like to curl my hair before I braid it so any stray hairs kind of curl into the braid if that makes sense, I just feel it looks better than straight stands sticking out! Hard to explain but yes I curl it before lol

Currently Shanae, my favorite is Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Wild Ginger Spray. :)

No, some can dry your hair out, but nothing serious. The Paul Mitchell one I recommended to Shanae doesn't dry mine out, so maybe give it a try? :)
