Okay so I've been using the bareMinerals prime time eyeshadow primer and I really like it, however I've been wanting to try out the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion. Anyone have any opinions on it for oily eyelids? Also, does anyone know if it helps with under eye and outer corner creasing?

I have pretty normal eyelids but I actually love this primer. There is 0 creasing when I wear it, and it also helps keep my under eye concealer from creasing as well. It's truly magical for me :)

I have oily eyelids and I liked it. It didn't make my eyeshadow crease for a long time but after a while my lids did look a bit shiny. I do think the too faced shadow insurance is better and keeps my shadow looking like I just put it on all day! (:

This eyeshadow primer is amazing! I have pretty normal eyelids and its awesome. My shadows stay put and they're more vibrant. I also noticed that this primer lasts AGES. I bought the tube I'm using now at the end of September and it's still full. My best friend loves the primer potion in Eden too. She said it cancels out any color or veins on the lids.

It's definitely worth trying. I have oily lids too,so even with the UD eye shadow primer I get creasing. Lorac has a really good one too. But...I tried a sample of the Smashbox eyeshadow primer, I had a lot less creasing than with the UD primer.

I have super oily lids and I do love my UD Primer Potion, but I also love the Lorac Behind the Scenes Primer. After priming, I put my Maybelline 24 hr eye tattoo and then whatever eyeshadow I plan on using. I usually have my makeup on for 12 hours everyday on average, and it lasts all day.

Does anyone know of a dupe for the UD primer?

I like the Nars eye primer much better. I find myself over applying my UD Primer Potion when I use it.. It can get cakey. The Nars primer is sheer, and I can add a little bit of a paint pot or my buff primer (UD Eden) over it if I want to mask redness or add a base shade.

I used the UD one forever and recently tried out the $2 elf one - it has worked exactly the same for me. There is also a $3 one but I've never tried it. I don't have super oily eyelids but I do get a lot of transfer and many other primers have not worked for me. I say give the Elf one a try before spending a lot on the UD one.

I personally think that the best primer from UD is sin. If you, don't wear much makeup but still want a really pretty bronze look, sin is great. I have oily eyelids too for reference. Ulta is having a sale sometime soon on them. Only $10! I would buy them then.
