So I have extremely curly hair and it gets dry easily so I'm trying to reduce how much I was my hair down to once a week. My hair doesn't really get dirty/greasy feeling so I think it could be doable along with dry shampoo. My problem is though is that I go to the gym 4+ times a week so I'm getting super sweaty. Would it be gross if I just used some dry shampoo to soak up the sweat and then rinse my hair out with water and maybe a tiny bit of conditioner?

Also would it be bad for my hair to not wash the sweat out with shampoo?

I don't wash my hair everytime I go to the gym (Also about 4 times a week) it would destroy my hair haha so I just use dry shampoo, I works fine for me, I like to use one with a really clean scent to it so it makes my hair smell clean!
I have a tendensy to greasy hair at my roots so I still have to wash my hair 2, sometimes 3 times a week, but with your dry hair I bet you wouldnt have any trouble :)

My sister has very thick curled hair, she also works out. and doesn't wash it as often. a light cleansing conditioner would clean out some of the dirt without drying it too much. as for your workout days, let your sweat dry off and then apply your dry shampoo so it doesn't clump too much. if also recommended a deep conditioning mask maybe once a week. I hope it helps, I know how frustrating curly hair can be.

I run an hour daily and go to the gym about five days a week on top of that, my hair would slaughter me if I washed it after every time lol! I wash my hair once a week (especially when it was bright red) and don't see a problem at all. Dry shampoo is going to be your best friend

I also wash mine once weekly. I wear a bandana exercising, rockabilly style, with my hair up and also use dry shampoo. Also love my hair perfume, which is light in scent and lovely.

I use Matrix dry shampoo and Pink Sugar hair perfume. Good luck!

I also have the same hair type as you, and I wash my hair about once a week. I'd say you could use dry shampoo, but for me it doesn't work so what I'd recommend is getting a cute hate or tuque to put on when your hair gets greasy, also if you put your hair up with a headband that works pretty good too, especially if you tease it a bit :)

I use the original Batiste dry shampoo, absolutely worth all the hype! I also actually carry around a finely milled matte powder and if need be ill sprinkle it into my hair throughout the day, this is usually only necessary very close to washing day though 😊

Just like Brittany I use the original batiste, and I agree it's totally worth the hype it's so good! I used to use a syoss dry shampoo and really loved it, and batiste is a bit expensive in my country so I was a bit hesitant to try it out, but I bought it like 2 weeks ago and I'm not going back!

Thanks all of you :) I was thinking that on the wash day I'll condition my hair with coconut oil or something for a few hours before washing it.
