I strongly suggest you wait until you can go to a pro. Lightening your hair that many levels at home can have pretty disastrous results :/

I don't think you could do that at home especially in one day! You should probably get it professionally done.

You would have to bleach your hair until it's pale yellow then you would need to tone your hair usually you can use this with the Wella toner and T 18 which is a light ash blonde and it'll probably go to that white color or somewhere along that in the grayscale. getting a perfect white, you could also use manic panic virgin snow but this is very difficult especially if you don't have much experience with hair. You might want to wait for that professional.

You'd have to bleach it, perhaps with 20-30vol peroxide for it to lift more levels in a shorter period of time and when your hairs a pale yellow colour you'd need to tone it with a toner or use a purple shampoo for about 10 minutes to remove some of the brassiness. If you aren't experienced with bleach I'd wait for your hairdresser.

I would suggest going to a pro, but if you really want to do it yourself, I suggest bleaching first. Lighten it and then use a dye to dye it platinum blonde. But I really suggest you go to a pro because doing it at home can end disastrously.

My friend did that at home but it took her a few months, and once her hair grew back the roots looked really bad because she wasn't maintaining them.

No problem, you probably know a lot more about it than I do :)

I seriously suggest you go to a pro, doesn't matter if you have to wait to get your hair done but its also going to save your hair!! Bleaching your hair at home is super dangerous especially if you don't know what exactly your doing, those box colors are a wreak also. Please take my advice and see a pro who will not only do your hair but also explain what products to use to take care of it. It's not a easy color to take care of I know that for a fact.

Yeah you should go to a pro.

Thank you guys so much! Just fyi the reason I needed it done that day was because I was going to get some pictures re taken for something and I can't change my hair after that. I didn't end up bleaching it and have decided to wait until I can dye my hair again and go to a pro. Thanks!

Hey Lexi!! How did you get your hair curled in the picture you posted?
Mar 7, 2015
Lexi F.
@Juju V
I already have a natural curl in my hair so I will usually just take a shower, put in some curling creme (I use the not your mothers kinky moves), and I split my hair into two sections and twist them then secure them at the top of my head. Almost like Heidi braids. I then sleep on that and in the morning I take it out and wrap any pieces that aren't curled (usually in 1 inch sections) away from My face
Weigh my Conair wand. I also do different layers and section off my hair when I do this
