I'm glad you like the kit. I have sensitive skin and mineral foundation made it worse. I think part of the problem was the brushes that came in the kit were not good quality. (Granted this was five years ago, so maybe they are better now) If you really like the product and want to stick with it over long term, I'd suggest upgrading to softer brushes.

My $.02 is that if you want a splurge-worthy brush you could get the wayne goss 13 which would be good for medium coverage and is about half the price of the Hakohodo brush mentioned in the article.
Also not mentioned in the article is the Kashuk tools travel Kabuki which is a natural hair brush that is waaaay softer than anything I got in my kit. It's less than $20 at Target.

I adore BareMinerals so much! Massive fan of their Prime Time primer and Moxie lipglosses. I have tons of their brushes too and my mun swears by their foundation :)
