Would I look good with a lip ring/piercing?

I've been carefully considering getting a lip piercing for years (I'm 18 now), and have finally decided that I would definitely want one - if it didn't look horrid on me.

I want the segment lip ring on the right side of my lip.

Here is a recent picture of me. I don't have the blonde hair anymore, but dark red instead. I dunno if hair color matters but there is a bit of info for ya. XD

I don't know what a segment piercing is but lip piercings are super easy to deal with and heal quickly so you should get it and if you don't like it you can always take it out that's what I like about piercings they don't have to be permanent
