How can I dress young but still office appropriate?

I work as an admin for a company in my town and were supposed to be office casual. In the youngest one there, 22 years old, by a few years. And I just don't feel I dress the part. One reason being, I am shorter than most, at 5'5 so I find things don't sit right on me all the time and I've had a had time finding dress pants that are skinnier and match my height without needed heming.

I don't think 5'5" is that short at all! I'm 5'2" and pretty tiny (105 lbs) and have had no problem with finding dress pants; however, the store I shop at, I don't think you'd have one, I think it's local. Why don't you try some midi skirts? Those look nice on shorter girls, and are everywhere.

I agree with everyone, show us your closet and shoes, and you are not short at all! My advice would be getting good statement heels as they can turn simple pieces into an outfit.

Trust me I feel you, I'm 4'11. The places I go typically have their jeans labelled and some of them are "short" and that helps a lot. I've found that wearing heels with pants that are a bit too long distracts from the fact that they're too long :)

If you're looking for ideas to incorporate some youth into bland office attire, try mixing in a few trendy (yet conservative) pieces. Things like statement necklaces, patterned blouses under a cardigan, mixing textiles and silhouettes (e.g. a flowy chiffon blouse with a pencil skirt, or a silk blouse with leather accents on the collar & cuffs). Adding color instantly brings some flair into office attire; a nice magenta or coral cardigan pairs well with khaki slacks for springtime and summer.

I have a huge wardrobe with pretty much 1 of everything. I just have been at such a loss for outfit inspiration and we don't have a lot of shopping options here in town. I love that pastel pink photo above though. I think I'm just too comfy in my leggings that I don't wanna branch out hahah
