I recently purchased the original too faced chocolate bar pallet and I fell in love with it! great quality and prefer too faced over urban decay pallets any day. since my birthday is coming up I want to buy the semi sweet pallet but don't know if the quality is the same or better? anyone own it? is it worth the investment?

From what I've heard people love it! :)

I own the original and I love it, recently though I used my sisters semi sweet palette and no the quality is not as good as the first one but it is still very nice. The colors are kind of similar you know a lot of browns. It is worth the investment I mean it's too faced (fave brand! Lol) but may I suggest you look into Lorac? I own 5 too faced palettes and a Lorac one and let me tell you I wish I had discovered Lorac before they have beautiful pigmentation and texture.

I already own the lorac pro 1&2 and also the unzipped pallet. great quality and I love them all! I was just hoping the semi sweet would be worth the money.maybe ill swatch it at the store and see how the quality is.

I have both of them and I feel like the quality is pretty similar between the two. A lot of people say the pigmentation isn't the same but I disagree. That being said, I prefer more of the colors from the original.
I don't know if you'd be interested, but Too Faced just released the Natural Matte palette and it's AMAZING. if you like matte colors, you should check it out!

I have both and I find that both palettes have the same quality but the semi sweet palette has one problem in my oppinion and that is the pink color, that color is the worst its chunky and gets a film over it.

@Kayla - yeah I heard about the matte pallete. although I love matte shades, the pallet doesn't appeal to me.
@lily yeah the original also has a horrible pink shade too so I can live with that. I think I'm going to give the semi sweet pallet a shot :)

The only shadow in the Semi Sweet palette that isn't up to par is the Pink Sugar color (in my experience, but I've also heard many other people complain about it). So I guess if that's a big deal to you then maybe skip the palette, but personally I really love mine anyways. All the other shadows are definitely up to par with the first palette :)
