For like years I have been trying to grow my hair out and I've watched so many hair growth videos and I know like every tip out there! I'm so desperate for it to grow.
I have curly hair so I use my diffuser for like 30 seconds after I wash my hair just so it's not dripping all over my clothes and I straighten my hair like three times a year so I'm barely using heat on it. The ends are all healthy and I only have to trim them like every six months. I drink 2+ literes of water a day. Wash my hair 2-3 times a week with a low sulfate shampoo and conditioner. Also I do coconut oil hair masks once a week.
I've heard people who have had good results with castor oil so I've just brought some to try that but do you have any other tips? It's been literally 5 years now since I cut my hair to my shoulders and it's grown like 4cm literally

All you can do is care for your hair, nothing will help make it grow. Just keep doing your masks and keeping it healthy. You should get it cut when you get split ends because split ends keep your hair from growing die to the split ends splitting higher up to the shaft of your hair and breaking off.

I actually read a thread on here a while ago, saying hair can actually stop growing to a certain length.

Yes, that's true!

If it's been five years then that's as far as your hair is going to grow
Unless you know that it can grow past that then you can't do anything

My friend has been using a shampoo which has Argan oil in it, and honestly everyone has noticed how quick her hair is growing!! Maybe you could try that.
