This is why I h a t e ordering makeup online. :( I paid $40 for the UD liquid foundation and it's a shade too dark- I also got the powder which is a shade too light. Will this even it out any? Or can I mix my new foundation with a lighter concealer? Ulta is so far away I just don't want to waste it.

I think mixing a lighter concealer with the foundation should work. As for the powder, if you use it sparingly, I'm sure it'll be fine.

You could mix it, but mixing it with something that isn't the same product is going to take away from the actual $40 product. You're better just returning it.

I know I should return it but it took two weeks to get here and the closest Ulta is over an hour away.

Mix it with a white foundation! MAC has white foundations that work great so I don't think it would take away from the foundation. And the powder might lighten up the foundation a bit.

If it's difficult to return it I definitely understand, there are products by Mac (and lush if I'm not mistaken) that are meant to adjust the colour of your foundation without taking away from the formula 😊 the lighter you mix with the less you need. Lighter powder is always a good call too as long as your don't over powder to avoid looking ashy

Manic panic dream tone is a white foundation for about $10-$12 on amazon! Mix it in with your dark foundation and it will lighten it.
