I have dry skin, although I moisturize everyday. I am looking for a good facial moisturizer that will help with really dry skin, as the one I am using now is not helping much. (If that makes sense lol) I am also looking for a matte powder and a foundation that will not make my skin even more dry. I am currently using the Covergirl Tru Match Foundation, which does not work for my skin. Does anyone have any product recommendations for me? Thanks everyone!!👍😊

Thanks Julie! Where did you find that?

If you have very dry skin then go for a cream that comes in tubs instead of a regular lotion, like what Julie has pictured. For foundation I wouldn't go for matte finishes if you have dry skin since matte foundations cling to and really bring out dry patches. Go for a dewy or luminous finish instead (:

I have dry skin and like Cerva Ve from the drugstore. They have a night cream that's wonderful. Higher end but not expensive is anything from Paula's Choice. What finish are you looking for in a foundation? I'm currently using the new Nars all day luminous foundation and love it.

I have really dry skin and to my shock I absolutely love Rimmel true match and it's dirt cheap!

And for skin care I use cereve cream cleanser, daily moisture with SPF and the night cream.

I really hated the Maybelline Smooth Mousse foundation. It looked so cakey, it did nothing to hydrate my skin, smelled awful, wasnt helpful at all to dry patches.

Yea, I don't recommend dream smooth mousse. I recommend Loreal true match lumi.

You could also try using the Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer under your foundation - it's very moisturizing, actually feels like you are putting lotion on.

I'm using the L'oreal True Match (perfect match depending where you live) I moisturise with cetaphil then use a primer and then apply it with my fingers. I find it looks very natural on my face without clinging on the dry patches. I have pretty dry skin. its not extreme full coverage but it does the job and It stays on for quite long.

I have had same problem and always looking for a new foundation not too expensive though. I just got the Loreal Visible Lift Blur and so far I really like it. Also purchased matching color in Loreal true match mineral make up to go over top. It's working really go so far. Still haven't found a goid moisturizer. Any suggestions?

I wonder if most get the Maybelline smooth mousse confused with the Maybelline matte mousse one is hydrating and the other is not. I like them both and apply lightly with a flat paddle brush they both have great coverage and go on smoothly one only breaks down if your oily trying to use a hydrating foundation which counteracts. I also really like the new Nars foundation it's super pretty and does last all day but if you have never used a watery consistency foundation you may have some trouble with it but for myself it was easy very nice and lasted all day long and a tiny bit goes a long way. I would also suggest using a toner for your skin like Indie Lee 10 toner and indie lee squalene oil is not greasy and those too combination sets for a great canvas before application.

I have normal to dry skin and live in very dry climate and my HG foundation is Hourglass Illusion Hyraluronic Tint- I love it! It makes my skin feel like satin and the coverage is wonderful. The finish is dewy and looks like skin. I love to buff it in to get the most out of the light reflecting particles. It is pricey but a little goes a long way :)
