It's like a party when someone is getting married. They invite their family and friends and there's a bunch of games and raffles which is designed to help the couple make some money for their wedding.

Oh like a wedding shower? I would keep it cute but casual with neutral eyes and a better-than-my-lips color.

Shauna it's definitely a Canadian thing lol. I was thinking the same thing though. I got invited to my uncles in July and my first thought was "so do I wear a dress...?" Haha. I think the appropriate think is dressed up but not super fancy, like a cute dress that doesn't over power would be good. People who have stag and does generally aren't super fancy or to bent on the elegance of traditional weddings. I think I plan on wearing a sun dress in July, but I'm not sure what I'd wear in March since it'll be a bit cold still. Do you have other people who are going that you know? It always helps to ask what they are planning to wear

Yeah kind of. The bride and groom still have a separate wedding shower so this is just a night filled with games and drinks to raise money :p

I just have no idea how "dressy" I should go. I know it's nothing formal but I don't know if it's as casual as jeans. I guess I'll try something in between

Honey - it's kind of like a casino night for the bride and groom to earn money for the wedding. It's generally got raffles, games like cards and almost carnival game type things. It's so the guests can have fun while the bride and groom make money lol.

Haha maybe it's a Canadian thing :p I thought all places had stuff like that but call them different things (Buck and Doe, Jack and Jill)

@Alyx it's my boyfriends cousin's that's getting married. Well actually his one cousins stag and doe is on March 14 and his other cousins is on March 28. I swear it's like a family competition, their weddings are even 2 weeks apart! I don't really know anyone going except my obviously my boyfriend and his parents. I might message his cousin to see what she's going to be wearing lol.

Shauna I think messaging his cousin would be a good idea.

I think I will! I feel like the one cousin's stag and doe will be a bit more dressy. The other cousin's wedding theme is football so I can't see it being very formal :p.

Shauna, I'm Canadian & even myself I have never attended a Stag & Doe. The one more dressy, you can try some black tight pants with maybe a peplum top & booties or boots.. And the football them, jeans with booties/simple heels & a cute one shoulder sweater or a cute a little fancy top. I wish I had pictures but this is just off the top of my head. Since its in March & still cold I suggest something comfortable but cute. :) I hope I helped a little bit.

We have a Stag and Hen 'do' in the UK. The bride and groom each have their own party, and get unforgivingly drunk, question their morals, and then stagger home with chips and cheese. Ah, British culture.
I'd wear maybe nice jeans and heels? With a cute jacket?
