I've tried doing that but it didn't turn out very well. It was more crimped than curled and took forever!

Watching that youtube video hmmm her straigtener looks wider then the standard ones yu get normaly twisting it all the way around give my hair an awkward crimped looked like you said. What i do is i clamp the hair down kinda bend the straightener in like kinda turning it in but only half way maybe less even than half way andi slide it down
