I try not to post questions like these because people post so many foundation questions, but I haven't heard some reviews for some of these. First off, I have oily acne prone sensitive skin and also need a build able medium coverage; my favorite right now is the Estée Lauder dbw. Here are the foundations that I've been looking toward: Lancôme teint idole (a lot of you suggest this), smash box studio skin 15 hour hour wear, Giorgio Armani luminous silk (really pricey, but I'm willing to pay a good amount for products that are being applied to my skin), MUFE Matt velvet (if it's anything like the HD, I probably wouldn't like it), and givenchy photo'perfection fluid foundation. Sorry this is so long, these all had good reviews on sephora but I wanted to hear your guys input on these!

I've tried Mufe Matt Velvet + but didn't make me completely happy bc it wasn't my color after two returns. But it did give me medium coverage with a definite matte finish, but within a good 5 hour wear or so I'd have to touch up bc the redness of my skin would pop up.
Lancome is now the foundation I use and I preach about it!
It is medium coverage, but can be built to full coverage. It is most definitely long wearing and has been the only foundation that covers my redness throughout the day even when I blot my t-zone.
It doesn't make my face an oily mess, but when I do get oily, it's minimal (:
Overall, great coverage and beautiful, matteish finish.
I'd definitely recommend and push you to try it out. Afterall, you can return it to Sephora if it doesn't live up to your expectations (:

Thank you yaira! my sephora is kind of far from me and always super crowded so returning is always such a hassle 😔 but you're super helpful! It sounds like everything I want in a foundation. Thank you! :)

Welcome ^.^
Awe, well I'm more than sure you'll really like it so you'll avoid that hassle (:
I too suffer from oily, acne prone skin so I know the struggle and discouragement when you keep buying a foundation, and it just doesn't comply with your skin or simply isn't enough.
I'll pray that it is what you want :D!

I absolutely LOVE the Lancome teint idole.
I have oily skin as well & my oilness never peaks through with this foundation.
I don't even need a setting powder which I always use with all my other foundations.
it stays matte & it stays for a long amount of time.
I recommend it 100%

I absolutely hated the Lancome Teint Idole. It was so hard to blend and I couldn't build it up. The finish was also way too matte for my preference.
I really like the MUFE Nat Velvet +! It gives me medium coverage, is buildable, and blends super easily. I have oily skin and I don't have any problems with it breaking down from my skin's oils (:

I'm not a huge fan of the Lancôme Teint Idole. It was a little too matte and looked super cakey on my skin. I guess it just wasn't the right one for me :)

Only one if tried is the Lancôme, it was alright. If your skin is dry in any way, I'd stay far away though. Also, if it's very oily, it didnt control oil well for me. Finish was satin but didn't ever really dry down and become budge proof.
