Try blending it in a little more and you can totally pull it off.

I like it, but I agree with Michelle. It doesn't seem like it is blended enough.

I love it! I've tried something similar but instead of using a black liner I used a dark purple (think of MAC Cyber lipstick in pencil form) with a nude matte lippie. The key to a flawless ombre lip is blending so the transition isn't so harsh. Practice makes perfect as it took me several attempts to get it right.

Not everyone is a fan of dark line and a nude lip, but don't discourage her from it. I think you could totally rock it and I agree with Michelle, more blending :)

I think it would look awesome blended more as well. Depending on the look you're going for, if you want an ombre look I'd blend it more. However, you can rock it whatever way you want girl

I'm not a fan, it reminds me of the old days haha! My mother used to do that allll the time. If you were going for the gradient lip effect, I would've blended more and it would've looked great :)

^ Guys could we chill with the negativity? We get it, you're not a fan of the look but if it's what she likes you could just give her tips as to how to improve :)
