I recently purchased the Diorskin Star foundation in 010 after the lady at the counter described it as a medium coverage matte velvet finish foundation. It looked and matches beautifully on my jawline, but I'm yet to try it out on my full face. Has anybody had any experience with this foundation? What are your thoughts? Have any application tips for me? Some helpful information would be that I switch between benefits porefessional primer and the smash box clear primer. My skin is normal, with acne here and there but it's been improving so much thanks to a new skincare routine :) thanks in advance!

What!? That woman does not know her product line. I have the foundation and its not matte. It gives a luminous finish...not a matte velvet finish. If you have active acne that you are trying to minimize its appearance this is not the foundation for you as it will merely highlight it because of the formula. I had a big old cystic on my forehead not too long ago and I made the mistake of using it one day...it put that sucker on spotlight. I found its best applied using a damp Beauty Blender. I apply only in the t-zone region and blend it out that way...one pump takes care of me nicely. I tried it with the brush and it gave an ok finish but there is something about the BB that made go "whoa". It does an awesome job at color correcting though...I have a section of my face that is a tad darker than the rest and it certainly makes it look all even.
