I would exchange it if I were you, you shouldn't have any problems at sephora. Its not worth spending 100$++ on foundation and risk it not being ok.

I am going to exchange it, but I just kind of want to know what I'm looking for exactly before I go in because I'm a teenager and my dad doesn't like waiting for me picking out makeup, lol. I just wanted to know if that means it's a neutral undertoned foundation. ^

I have a neutral undertone although I don't have light skin.
neutral is a mix of warm and cool undertones.
although mine lean more towards the warm side.

I don't know if that particular foundation will match you, but to my knowledge a mix of pink and yellow does mean that it's neutral.

If I were you I'd just try and swatch it quickly in the store before you exchange it...it should really only take 5 minutes or so, just swatch it along your jaw-line (making sure that it matches your neck and face). :$

Thank you all so much, this helped a lot. I just wanted to have some more background information instead of just waltzing in there like last time (I never have really bought high end products, so I always feel like the SA knows more than I do automatically) and hurrying to pick something. The Sephora trip was kind of a surprise thing that I wasn't ready for...ha. BUT THIS TIME I WILL BE READY, and if they don't have my correct shade in this foundation I found a few other foundations with a good shade selection which I could just swatch and be on my way. (I can only hope that it's that simple, or just stop wearing makeup until I get my own car and drive myself straight to Sephora)
