Because your acne prone & have oily skin I would recommend investing in a good foundation. I personally love the Estée Lauder double wear for my oily skin & it doesn't make me break out it's a little pricey but totally worth every penny.

CoverFx Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation...its a water based formula that is non-comedogenic and fragrance free. If you combine it with their Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment that is also water-based and is a gel formula containing salicylic acid which will treat existing acne and ward off future acne. Both the foundation and the primer work very well together.

I use the Tarte 12 hour foundation. It's matte, long-wearing, and it covers EVERYTHING without making my breakouts worse. I also use a concealer with tea tree oil in it (TheBalm 'liquid timebalm') on any active blemishes before applying my foundation so it's like a little barrier + added coverage.

Oh, and If I'm having a good skin day I just use this: http://www.garnier.ca/en-ca/face-care/beauty/garnier/pure-control. Nice light coverage but still enough to correct any scaring you may have leftover and the salicylic acid helps heal scaring and prevent future breakouts.

I have oily and acne prone skin as well. I use estee lauder double wear stay in place foundation and its ahhmazing. buildable without making you look cakey so that's a good thing when you need more coverage to cover the problematic areas, light weight and blendable.
