I don't have a very red face or skin but my cheeks are naturally quite flushed and it doesn't matter how heavy the coverage of foundation I use, the redness still comes through. This means blusher looks awful and contouring doesn't show up!
I have tried googling but all that comes up is rosacea and I know for sure that I don't have that.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for reducing this or products I could use? The products need to be available in the UK!
Thank you!!

You can use a green primer or concealer under your foundation. Green is opposite red on the color wheel so it will counteract the redness!

Have you tried a color correction primer?
If not, then check out Shaaanox on YouTube, she has redness to her skin and she uses primers to hide this. I know she uses one from Stila a lot but I don't remember it's name!

I agree. Try a green primer but I'm with Shanae...not the Loreal one. Terrible waste of money.

I have the regular foundation, under eye and eye lid primers and I love them so much!
smashbox primers are my favorite!

I have the same issue with my cheeks. I use NYX green concealer to cancel out the redness in the area below my cheeks. then I use MUFE concealer on my cheeks/below my eyes. Then I will use Hourglass immaculate foundation over the green, sometimes the rest of my face, or use Maybeline BB cream with 2% salicylic acid. I know it sounds like a lot but once I got it right it only takes me maybe 10 minutes. Let me know if you want pictures of the products. xo.

A green full coverage concealer, apply to only the red areas. Apply foundation over and set. Never been a fan of the color correcting primers. Not enough pigment to them in my opinion.

To me it does sound like rosacea. There are creams you can get to reduce the redness on your cheeks. Also The Body Shop Vitamin C Boost is amazing as a primer before makeup and it is supposed to over time reduce redness on the face. I also agree with trying a green primer.
