What are the steps to correctly apply make up?

I believe it's due to personal preference and how much makeup you wear, but this is how I do it.
The order I apply it in -
Primer (I use Smashbox photo finish and apply with my fingers)
L'Oreal True Match foundation (applied with a kabuki brush and then softened and further blended with my fingers)
Eyeshadow base (I use Mally and use my fingers)
Concealer (I use MUA and use my fingers to apply, but you can use a brush)
I apply mascara straight from the tube with the wand provided.
If I'm wearing eyeshadow I use my Jerome Alexander eyeshadow brush and my BareMinerals max coverage concealer brush to apply and blend.
I apply eyeliner straight from the pen or use my Royal Connections angled brush.
I then apply one more layer of mascara to blend everything in.
For my brows, I use my Royal Connections angled brush and my W7 'the Browns' palette, using the matte colours. I then blend it out with a spooly brush.
If I'm wearing lipstick or gloss, I apply straight from the tube/bullet.
If I'm wearing blusher, I use my Bareminerals foundation brush

It depends on what you're going for or what "problem areas" you might have. This is the order I do mine:
Primer (rimmel stay matte)
Undereye corrector (pixi)
Foundation (rimmel stay matte)
Undereye concealer (maybelline fit me)
Contouring (maybelline fit me pressed powder, 3 shades darker)
Highlight (cargo)
Blush (nyx)
Eyelid primer (urban decay or nyx)
Eyeshadow (I have a bazillion haha)
Line my waterline with nude eyeliner (rimmel scandaleyes)
Eyeliner on top (rimmel or pixi)
Mascara (benefit they're real or l'oreal voluminous butterfly)
Fill in brows (urban decay brow box)
Lip color (varies)
Setting spray (nyx or urban decay)
