Hello I'd like to know if a vitamin c serum is likely to help me combination skin?
Any of you guys and gals have any experience? 😄😄😄😄

I have combo, acne prone skin. I use vitamin c serum to help with my acne scars and it has definitely helped diminish the appearance of them and overall improve the quality of my skin. What I love most is that it's gentle and not as harsh as some other types of products.

We have the same skin! What serum do you use? I am looking to add it to my regime at night to help repair my skin. Thank you.

When I first tried vitamin C serums I was trying high end ones but I recently discovered a vitamin C serum at Whole Foods that's only like $20 and works wonderfully. In addition to that, I also use a chemical exfoliant from Paula's Choice called 2% BHA Liquid. The exfoliant also helps maintain clear skin and diminish the appearance of acne scars, as well as improve the texture of my skin.

Wow we have a couple if whole food stores here in the UK and in going to be close to one later on today so I amgoing to look for that product!!
Ahhhh I was going to ask about the Paula's choice products because inhave just been reading online about them.
Would you recommend them? Would it be worth it if I purchased full size rather than sample sizes?
Thanks so much for your help!

The PC chemical exfoliant is a must have for me. When trying a new product, I always buy a full size because I need to try it out for a few weeks to really see if it's working or not.

I have used the PC vitamin c serum n worked great at fading my scars and like Mallory I paired it with her BHA exfoliant and did wonders for my skin - my scars are still there but very diminished and hardly noticeable under makeup - check out my photos on my profile of my progress with the vitamin c serum

No problem Hunnie. Just keep in mind that everything that works for me may not work for you. And unfortunately it takes a lot of trial and error with finding the skincare routine that best suits you.

You want to look for one that has ascorbic acid as the active ingredient.

I Agree with Rozberry there is a big difference with a vitamin c Ester and a stabilized form of vitamin c, you get the most beneficial ingredients in the stabilized l ascorbic acid rather than a c Ester , more potent antioxidants, wrinkle prevention and brightening effects, and they will always come in a dark glass bottle because it's light sensitive.

This does list ascorbic acid as an ingredient?

Ok that's great then , and it should be in a dark bottle , the Avalon is not a stabilized vitamin c serum
