I've decided that I'll (eventually) get a Clarisonic. I know I want the Mia 1 but I don't know what brush head I should get. It comes with the Sensitive brush head, which is for all skin type, but I don't know if I should also get the Deep Pore Cleansing brush head. I have normal to oily skin, which is what the Deep Pore Cleansing head is for, but I don't have enlarged pores which is what that particular brush head is recommended for. Should I just skip the Deep Pore Cleansing brush head and stick with the Sensitive head?

I would just stick with the sensitive one.

I have the Mia 2 and I have used both the sensitive and the deep pore cleansing one. I happen to like the one for deep pores more than the sensitive one. But then again I do have enlarged pores, so I'd have to agree with Emma and say stick with the sensitive one. :) p.s. I love my Clarasonic! I think it's a great investment!

Thank you, Bree! It may be awhile before I can finally get it but I'm already excited for it (:

My skin feels so much cleaner and I love the way my foundation looks on my skin now too! I think you're going to love it!

Just out of curiosity, Bree, do you use the Clarisonic brand cleanser or do you use your own?

I'd start with the sensitive one and see how it goes. Some people find even that too harsh and need the delicate one (which is actually for sensitive skin...they have a weird naming system). If you're not loving the head it comes with you can try emailing them and nicely suggesting they make the starter kits available with different heads as you really wanted the deep pore one - I've heard of several people getting coupons from them that way!

I think I remember my boss telling me that the deep pore head isn't for everyday use, but you can use it a few times a week for extra cleansing (just so you aren't irritating the skin right off the bat, too much too soon) I agree in starting with the sensitive brush head and seeing how your skin reacts after a few uses :)

I have a Mia 2 and mine came with the sensitive brush head and the cashmere brush head. I have dry skin and the sensitive one is amazing! I use the cashmere head when I didn't wear makeup that day but still want to clean my face. You can always buy replacement heads at sephora! So I would try the sensitive brush head first :)

Wayne Goss has a video about the deep pore brush head that scared the crap out of me and I will never ever touch that brush head now! I have oily skin and the sensitive brush head is perfect for me.

Don't recommend the deep pore one, even if you have really oily skin it will skin tare your skin apart!

I have oily aging skin and I'm sticking with the sensitive brush head. I've been using CeraVe cleanser with it and it's worked really well.
