I have a horrible, bad habit. I bite my nails and cuticles ALL THE TIME. When I'm nervous, I bite my nails. When I'm bored, I bite my nails. Even after a manicure, two days after, I bite my nails. How do I break this habit and how do I take care of them since they are uneven and weird? Help me please!! Thank you.

Hmm it was a conscious thing for me. I use to bite my nails a lot, then I became more conscious of it, and stopped myself. Now I haven't bit for nearly a week :) also my boyfriend reminded me every time he caught me haha. Hmm. Not sure if that's much help, but when you notice yourself doing it tell yourself to stop, it really helps if it becomes a routine

And I know a week isn't long but technically for me it is because I would bite all day every single day haha

Have the same problem here :( but for me I got acrylics done or just press on nails so I won't bite them & for a while I wore a rubber band so when I did it any of my friends would pull it

Use a dip which makes your nails taste horrible when you bite them. It will make you stop because you don't want to taste it. Or when your bored have something to bite instead like a pen or a rubber. It works.
