Hi! this week is my schools spirit week and tommorow I am dressing up as a biker chick from the 50s for generation day. I'm going to wear a leather jacket white tank top black jeans (rolled up) and black converse (I might wear red considering whether or not my friend lends me hers) high tops (I don't have boots). I want to wear a red bandana and red lipstick. I'm not sure if I should tie the bandana around my neck (I know they used to do that) or around my head but I would rather around my neck because I wanted to do something fun with my hair. feedback on anything I can add or any mistakes I've made will help thank you!

Around your neck would be super cute, with big curly hair.

None of that sounds 50s to me. Chuck Taylors were men's basketball shoes, and very few ladies wore jeans at that time. What is your inspiration from?

She said Converse high tops, that would be Chuck Taylors.
I'm not saying that women never rode motorcycles or wore pants; I'm saying it wasn't common and isn't readily recognizable as a 1950s look. The outfit as she described sounds more like the Chola fashion that is popular in parts of California, than any pinup or 1950s fashion. I'm sure the outfit is cute, but I don't think people are going to "get it".
