Lit Glitter Sizes?

I was looking at Lit Glitter and I'm a bit confused about the sizes. I understand that they basically come in small, medium, and large sizes but does the size of the glitter make any difference? Like I don't understand why they come in different sizes if you get the same effect from every size.

Basically, the finer the glitter the more it looks like a pigment, as opposed to chunkier glitter which definitely looks like individual glitters, finer glitter is more...smooth looking :) sorry I'm struggling with the explanations today.

I normally prefer the smaller sizes, as sometimes chunkier glitter looks a bit too much, but there's a time and place for each size :)

I think if/when I get any I'll go for the small or medium, I'm not a fan of large glittery chunks on anyone (:
