I wasn't wowed by the Smashbox. Didn't like the fact that to make it vibrant that I had to wet my brush. It lasted two days in my house before I sent it packing. And you're right...the brush sucked rocks.lol. The Too Faced Melted...its a hit and miss. Some colors are ok in wear time and some are just blah. Check out the version that L.A. Girls has...far cheaper and the wear time is far better. Maybe try the filling in your lips with a neutral shade lip liner and then apply the TF Melted and see if that works for you.

I love the look of the eyeshadow palette, I've never tried it though. as for the melted lippies, I hate them. I have two one in melted marshmellow and the other ones melted poeny. the melted poeny one is a lil better but like you said they don't really stay plus they look like a cracked mess on my lips after a half and hour. I love the colors but damn, the formula sucks! try the kvd lippies,they are truley amazing.

The lighter colors for the melted lippies are horrid, I personally own this color and I think that if you wear a lip liner underneath it wears a lot better. It's my fav lip color to be honest. I own a lighter color of it and it's very patchy.

I have both but the melted colors in coral and berry love them.I also truly liked the double exposure the colors are extremely wearable especially on key for transition colors to help the flow of colors bleed into each other with ease. The reason for wetting your brush is to use the shimmer colors over your matte to give a some what gilded antique finish to the eye, this palette is very useful.:)

I have 4 of the melted lipsticks, 2 light 2 dark, I love all off them. I never have a problem with them going patchy or not lasting!

I didn't add the wet shadow over the matte. thanks for that tip.
@Sabrina.. I'm glad you didn't have issues with yours. hopefully I'll get a lot of use out of mine and it won't get "lost" in my makeup junkyard lol

I feel the same way about the Melted Lippies. The colors available are beautiful but they don't last long on me. I'm going to try Shelley's idea with the liner and see how that goes.

I love the Melted Lipsticks too! I only have the bright pink one. I can't think of the color name though. I always apply it over freshly moisturized lips and then pat the extra lip balm off before applying the Melted. It lasts a long time for me and I don't feel like it dries my lips out either. Maybe give it another whirl before returning :)
