What is your opinion on the estee lauder double wear stay in place foundation? I've heard nothing but good things about this foundation and I have super oily skin so I decided to try it and when I applied it , it just didnt look very good. It may of been the way I applied it but I just want to hear other opinions on it. How does it work for oily skin? And do you apply it with a brush, beauty blender or what?

I love the double wear foundation. for me I have combo acne prone skin and it gives me a flawless full coverage matte finish. I can literally wear it all day and it will stay put. first I apply it all over my face then blend it outwith my makeup geek stippling foundation brush. I would say I get a little oily after 8 hours. it's a great foundation and worth the price.

I have oily skin and it looks very natural on me and doesn't break down from my skin's oils. I apply the foundation by dotting it all over my face then blend it in with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush (:

I agree with the girls above me, I love mine! I have oily and troubled skin and it looks really nice on my skin. Sometimes I use a beauty blender, other times I use a flat top brush

I love it! Best foundation I've tried. Although it isn't 100% perfect it does give me the best results. I have VERY oily skin and acne with scaring. Since its a pretty thin product, I apply with a slightly damp ended beauty blender. The brush made it too streaky on my face. I then set it with MakeUpForever HD Setting Powder. It really stays the best for me. But you've can't fix skin issues with makeup alone. I try to drink water constantly all day, and it really does help keep my skin less oily! On the days where I'm not drinking water, I always have to reapply my makeup.

I love it! I put some product on the back of my hand and use a beauty blender to apply it first and If I need more coverage I apple more with a stippling brush on the spots where I have acne scars. I have oily skin and I set it with mac blot powder and I get oily after a few hours but I don't mind touching up. I get a matte or semi matte coverage. I really like this foundation

I love this foundation. I actually don't have oily skin at all, it's pretty normal, tiny bit of dryness and dehydration but I maintain that very well and have a good skin care routine do luckily I've been able to use foundation that aren't necessarily for my skin type. I apply it different ways depending on my brushes that are clean and how dry my skin is but I usually pour some on my hand, and tap my buffing brush into the product and apply it then use a damp beauty blender on top

What primer did you use with it?

Thank you guys for the tips! I figured out the problem, when I picked the foundation I think the women who helped me didnt match it correctly to my face because its slighty orange, so I'm going to go back and get a lighter shade and give it another try :)

Yeah my colour is a bit off too! But they have a really wide selection of shade for all tones!
